I'll be gone until 8:30ish, until then other CHN writers & readers will be around!
There has already been too many trades - I can't keep up.
I'm pretty sad that Sarver & Kerr have destroyed my beloved Suns.
...any guesses on who they are? LOL

I thought I was done suffering through Mark Jackson's commentary for this season - guess I was wrong.
...they all know what they are talking about, and know even more when they got it totally wrong, but will now tell you why that team took the other player. Why not just talk about pro's & con's of each player and let the teams draft? Oh wait, then it would not be ESPN! LOL

The Griffin family plan on Taylor getting picked tonight also!?! My family plans on me winning a Pulitzer prize, but....
...finally some good hype about that young man!

I'm proud of Curry actually admitting what team he wants to play for. Most guys aren't bold enough to answer a question like that with a true answer.
It's a shame about Blake Griffin - he seems like such a nice boy.
OKC should have taken Rubio - that would have been an exciting team to watch. Guess Harden's bowtie won them over.
Somewhat of a surprise, but the really like Westbrook and getting Rubio would have been a bad message. I just wish I wasn't headed to my soccer game, but I'll try to chime in via phone.
I'm a big Harden fan. Not sure how well he will fit in with that group, but certainly one of the top three or four players coming out of college in my opinion.
Look at all those ball handlers...
All the rumors of them packaging 5 and 6 to move up for Rubio and they get him at 5. Curry could be there for the Knicks, as could Flynn. Which one drops below that?
Minny picking Flynn is a real curveball. Trade coming up?
Does anyone think that Minny are keeping both Flynn and Rubio?
...Rubio to the Knicks!

Poor Davidson. The Wildcats and the Southern Conference just got a lot worse and lost all their publicity.
Wishful thinking from a Knicks fan?
Curry is the first disappointed player picked - he really wanted to play for D'Antoni.
He could be a great player and I can't blame him for getting out of USC right now, but he is nothing but potential. Another year or two in college would have been helpful. He'll be considered a bust for the next three years until he is actually ready to play in the NBA.
Odd that healthcare comes up with the guy who gets drafted by the Raptors...
Terrence Williams stock has skyrocketed. Who would have thought that he'd get picked before his teammate Earl Clark?
Great pick. That guy can do everything. With all due respect to the CHN mock draft, that's a much better selection than Gerald Henderson.
It's amazing how good Louisville will be even without Clark and Williams. They will be young, but Samardo Samuels will tear it up and the recruiting class is solid.
Why isn't Maynor getting mentioned along with these point guards? He's the one that is the best prepared to contribute right away.
It's not a big surprise, but this draft is saying a lot about mid-major basketball right now. We've had players from the WCC, C-USA and Southern Conference already taken. SEC and Big Ten have been shut out. It is a good sign for college basketball when players think they can go to a school like Davidson and still get drafted in the lottery.
Daye's skilled, but do his skills really fit in Detroit? I'm not sold on that selection.
Hey guys...am I missing anybody here? Is the Big Ten only going to get one guy (Mullens) drafted? Is the only other possibility Goran Suton as a possible late second rounder?
Nuggets with Ty Lawson? I like it...he'll run forever with them.
It took me six hours to get to New York from Maryland...so I was forced to listen to the first seven picks on ESPN Radio...trust me, Doug Gottleib and Steve Lavin and -- get this -- Will Purdue were worse than the ESPN TV coverage.
1) Jennings
2) Evans
3) Rubio
4) Flynn
5) Holiday
6) Curry
At least two Wake Forest players made the right decision by leaving early. The Deacons were a great story last year with Teague and Johnson...until they choked in the NCAAs...but they probably won't make it back to the dance this year.
- "I'm sold...I think that Blake Griffin will be a really good pro" ...thanks, Doug Gottleib, I'm glad
- "Ricky Rubio looks like he's 18" -- Doug Gottleib...maybe because he's, I don't know, 18?
- David Stern sounded like he was going through puberty when he announced Thabeet.
- "You got your surfboard, your skateboard? You gotta get your Vans, your flip-flops" -- Steve Lavin's first comment and question to Griffin
- Why did Gottleib and Lavin keep calling Thabeet "Hash"? When did this nickname start?
- Gottleib: "Evans nearly led Memphis to the Final Four" ...really? By losing handily in the Sweet Sixteen he did that?
- "I don't know the Spanish translation for 'parka'" -- the show's host to Rubio...he's gonna need a parka in California?
Will be stuck behind Deron Williams for years...that's unfortunate for him...I've loved him for years
Everyone is really down on Rubio - he's the best point guard in the draft, bar none. People are just sick of hearing about him.
So that is what Will Perdue is up to these days. With Stevie Kerr on tv, now I'm looking for a B.J. Armstrong siting. Or Bill Cartwright...that guy ruined my jump shot.
I just got an e-mail the Stephon Curry is headed to Phoenix as part of the Amar'e deal.

Obviously I just posted that comment three times to boost my CHN points up!
Don't worry, we are all jealous of Raphielle's superior CHN points.
My sleeper pick! I actually drafted him for Portland during SLAM's online mock draft. Lottery talent.
You gotta love Shaq - shout out to Michael Jackson and Stanley Roberts in the same interview.
Omri Casspi, the Israeli Jordan. Not to be confused with the Jewish Jordan, or Baby Jordan
