Player of the Year


Player of the Year Evan Turner and super-freshman John Wall highlight CollegeHoops.net's 2010 All-America teams. Turner averaged 19.5 ppg, 9.4 rpg, and 5.8 apg while helping Ohio St finish tied atop the Big Ten standings. Wall averaged 16.8 ppg and 6.2 apg, helping lead Kentucky to an impressive 29-2 record and an SEC title. They are joined on the First Team by Wall's teammate DeMarcus Cousins, Villanova leader Scottie Reynolds, and Big 12 Player of the Year James Anderson.

 

Besides Kentucky, other schools to have multiple players selected include Duke (John Scheyer 2nd Team & Kyle Singler 4th) and Kansas (Sherron Collins & Cole Aldrich 3rd Team). Purdue has three players on the Honorable Mention list, while Baylor has two. Returnees from the 2009 list include Turner, Singler, Collins & Aldrich, Luke Harangody,  Kalin Lucas, and Patrick Patterson.

Look how poorly Purdue played yesterday against Minnesota with still two of the their top three players. Honorable mention is about right.

i do not understand either

i do not understand either how denis clemente is left off this list..i woulda picked him for 2nd team as maybe a long run but without a doubt 3rd team ATLEAST. poor decision making leaving out such an outstanding player.

SOOOOOOO three all americans on the top four teams are coming back 3 out of 20. that regoddamndiculous. All the people returning on the all american teams are a third teamer and a couple fourth teamers. Shits hitting the fan son. Looks like the cows have come home to roost!
