Accolades: All Tournament Team Preseason NIT

Scouting Report: Scorer. Member of the
Huskies’ 1000 point club despite never being the club’s top option on
offense. Good size allows him to play tough defense on the perimeter.
Great attitude and is a team player.
Strengths: Scoring. Scored 111 points in one
game in high school and has been a consistent scorer his 4 years at
UConn. Experience. Averaged 20+ minutes a game all 4 years with the
Huskies, including the teams’ 2004 championship year. Also has been a
top scoring option on Canada’s National Team the past few summers.
Weaknesses: Never been the go-to-guy on the
college level (has been internationally for Team Canada though). Not an
exceptional athlete. Needs to work on his ball handling skills to play
the 2 guard spot in the NBA.
Projected 2006 Draft Range: Late second round.
Consensus: It will be an uphill climb for
Denham to become a regular on a NBA roster. However, he does have good
scoring skills, a strong build and a good attitude. If not drafted
should at least get summer league and/or training camp invites.
