Scouting Report: A very
raw, but athletically skilled big man. Not given much of a chance to
shine at UConn with the plethora of future NBA big men playing in front
of him.
Strengths: Shotblocking.
Great hands. NBA size and wingspan. Has all the physical tools
necessary to play at the next level. Spending 4 years with the Huskies
means he is well schooled in basketball.
Weaknesses: Experience.
Despite playing 4 years at UConn he hasn’t been given a chance to really
show what he is capable of.
Projected 2006 Draft Range:
Late first round – early second round
Consensus: Could be a
diamond in the rough and a steal if he goes in the second round.
Praticed with great post players all 4 years in college. Once given
more experience could blossom into a decent NBA performer.
