Oklahoma Announces Three Top 100 Signees

NORMAN, Okla. - Oklahoma men's basketball head coach Jeff Capel and his staff continue to make names for themselves on the recruiting trail and, for the third straight November, unveiled an impressive four-man list of signees today.  The group is rated No. 14 nationally by and features three top-100 players.


Aaric Murray, Top 30 Prospect, Signs With La Salle

La SallePhiladelphia, PA- La Salle University men's basketball coach Dr. John Giannini has received a National Letter of Intent from 6''10 center Aaric Murray.

Murray is in his senior season at The Glen Mills School where he averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds a season ago.

Murray is ranked among the nation's Top 40 basketball recruits by all of the recognized scouting services and is considered the 19th top prospect in America by HoopScoop.

Terrell Vinson Heading to Loyola Marymount

LMULos Angeles, CA - The Loyola Marymount men's basketball program continued its impressive transition under first-year Head Coach Bill Bayno as high school standout Terrell Vinson (St. Frances Academy - Baltimore Academy) signed a National Letter of Intent to attend and play collegiate basketball for the Lions starting in 2009-10. Vinson is the first player to sign an NLI during the early signing period that runs from Nov. 12-19.

Colorado Signs Three to NLI's

BOULDER - University of Colorado men's basketball head coach Jeff Bzdelik announced Wednesday that Alec Burks, Keegan Hornbuckle, and Shane Harris-Tunks have officially signed National Letters of Intent to continue their education beginning in the 2009-10 academic year.

"With the signing of these three young men, once again we have taken a major step toward creating the vision for this program," Bzdelik said. "All three are highly skilled, highly intelligent and play with a competitive spirit."

Reginald Buckner Heading to Ole Miss

MississippiOXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss head coach Andy Kennedy announced Wednesday that the men's basketball team has received a national letter of intent from highly touted high school senior Reginald Buckner, who will join the Rebels for the 2009-10 academic year.

Wake Forest Signs CJ Harris and Ari Stewart

Wake ForestWINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest head coach Dino Gaudio announced today that two prospective student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to attend Wake Forest beginning in the fall of 2009.

Guard C.J. Harris (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and forward Ari Stewart (Marietta, Ga.) signed their official commitments on Wednesday to join the Demon Deacon basketball family next season.

John Wall to Baylor: A Done Deal?

Baylor announced the hiring of AAU coach Dwon Clifton to be their "Director of Player Development." Clifton's background and the actual tasks involved in this job (if any?) are meaningless.. but the important thing to note here is that Cifton is the coach of D-One Sports, an AAU team that features the #1 prospect in the country, John Wall. Wall will almost certainly announce his decision to attend Baylor now, ending an odd recruitment that came down to Big 12 schools Baylor and Oklahoma State.
