Preview: NIT Season Tip-Off

November 12th, 2007

Things change quickly in college basketball.  What was a dirty word in March – NIT – is now a positive.  For teams on the bubble last March, the prospect of playing in the NIT instead of the NCAA tournament was hard to stomach.  However, now that it is November, playing in the NIT – the Dick’s Sporting Good NIT Season Tip-Off – is a welcome experience.

Daily Dribble: Big Ten Top 25 Players

October 11th, 2007
Big TenFollowing the ACC Top 25 Players earlier in the week, I move to the Midwest to take on the Big Ten. Outside the top handful of players, the talent is not comparable to the other BCS leagues. Still, there's new talent at Purdue, Ohio State, and elsewhere that could push some of these mediocre veterans off the list by season's end.
