ST. LOUIS -- For the fourth-straight year, the State Farm MVC Tournament will have a different top seed. Northern Iowa, which shared the regular-season title with Creighton, earned the No. 1 MVC Tournament seed for the first time in school history. The Panthers, picked sixth in the league's pre-season poll, finished with a regular-season record of 20-10 and 14-4 in league play, and held the tiebreaker over co-champion Creighton (25-6, 14-4).

ButlerBRISTOL, Conn. -- ESPNU will televise six BracketBusters games, while, ESPN's customized broadband service, will offer one. ESPN2 will televise five contests and ESPN will have one game. will also simulcast the ESPN and ESPN2 telecasts. The match-ups are highlighted by #11 Butler against Davidson, both undefeated in conference play, and #22 Utah State against Saint Mary's, a 2008 NCAA Tournament participant that has been among the nation's top 25 teams this season as recently as last week.

Half-Court Buzzer Beats Propels Evansville Over Drake

DrakeDES MOINES, IOWA -- Kaylon Williams' basket from 35 feet at the buzzer capped a 10-0 run to end the game as Evansville rallied for a 65-62 Missouri Valley Conference victory past Drake Thursday.

The Bulldogs seemed in control owning a 62-55 lead with 3 minutes 15 seconds left following two free throws by junior guard Craig Stanley (Plano, Texas).

But Drake missed its last four shots. Two free throws by Evansville reserve James Haarsma with 17 seconds remaining tied the score at 62-62.
