This college basketball season has been an interesting one to say the least. Like any other year we have seen teams rise and fall. We have seen great individual performances, nail biting games, and buzzer beaters…but this year has also been entertaining for other reasons. There have been ejections, cheap shots, and even a face stomp. Here’s a collection of videos on the “controversial” events that have occurred already this season…
As we get closer to Selection Sunday, standout performances are starting to pop up all over the country, and not just from the usual suspects. With so many teams attempting to make statements with marquee wins, there are plenty of opportunities for players to earn Player of the Week consideration.

As I’m writing this, it is currently three degrees outside, with the high for today climbing to around 14.. The high for tomorrow is supposed to be 24 degrees. Needless to say, it’s a perfect weekend to spend indoors watching some hoops. This weekend is loaded with quality games, as the Pac-10, Big East and ACC all have some huge in-conference match-ups. Here’s some games to keep an eye on.
Now that the presents have been unwrapped and many of you are rushing to stores for post-Christmas deals, it's time for college football to blitz into the new year with a glut of games. Editor's Early Preview (12/15):
An early and important ACC battle on Sunday as Miami faces unbeaten Clemson. Despite the Tigers undefeated record, the voters have given them little respect. Rightfully so, as Clemson has a reputation for running off early non-conference home wins before faltering in league play. So long as Jack McClinton doesn't go rogue here and slap anyone in the face, the Hurricanes should get the win.
Wake Forest, Miami and now the Clemson Tigers are slowly beginning to earn this elite respect as well.
