The first of the national polls is in. No surprise at the top where Florida, UNC, Kansas, and Ohio State lead the way.

Florida is represented by three players on the prestigous Wooden Award Top 50 Preseason List.

In this month's updated Preseason Top 40, we have the added bonus of knowing who left (Cedric Simmons, Kyle Lowry, etc) and who stayed in school (Joakim Noah, Glen Davis, etc). The only team to completely drop out of the Top 40 is NC State, replaced by #37 Michigan.

McDonald's All-Americans shape the face of the college game. Next year we project that 37 teams will have at least one All-American on their roster. Amongst these teams, the wealth is pretty spread out as only 8 teams have more than 2 on their roster. The exception is down in Tobacco Road where 13 (over a third of All-Americans) will be divided between Duke and North Carolina.
