Editor's Early Preview (9/15):

Minnesota has gotten off to a perfect start, but their competition has been anything but outstanding. Still, its not like the Cardinals have been world-beaters so far. On a neutral court in Arizona, Louisville will definitely be favored, but you never know what to expect from Pitino's squad. Both teams feature good young talent that neutral fans will want to check out.

Editor's Early Preview (9/15):

You never know what you'll get from Louisville, so this neutral court affair against Ole Miss could be surprisingly close.. or the Cards could roll by 20+. You just don't know. Andy Kennedy and the Rebels had hopes of earning an at-large bid this season, but a recent blow out loss to New Mexico really hurt the cause. Louisville's front-line could have a field-day here.

After a month of play, the Big East has proved it's just as good as any conference in the country.  Several teams have had big wins so far (Seton Hall, Syracuse, and Notre Dame), and the conference currently has an AP-record 8 teams in the top 25.  Other teams have had early upsets though (Louisville, Marquette).  At this point in regular season, it's a little too early to nail down each team's true identity, but there's just enough to start the  conversation.  Some of these points may prove to be true, others may turn out just the opposite.  Whatever does happen, though, i
