NORMAN, Okla. - Oklahoma men's basketball head coach Jeff Capel announced today that junior forward Barry Honoré has transferred to OU from Southern University. Honoré (pronounced ON-uh-ray) will sit out the 2009-10 season and have two seasons of eligibility remaining as a walk-on.

EUGENE, Ore. - On a night where it looked like Oakland was letting the game slip away, junior Johnathon Jones refused to let that happen, especially when he committed a foul with six seconds left in regulation to send Oregon's Tajuan Porter to the line for three shots, which he made to tie the game at 68-68. All Jones did is score 10 of his career-high 32 points in overtime to lead the Golden Grizzlies (1-1) past the Ducks (1-1) 82-79 (OT) on Monday night in McArthur Court.
