Wooden Award Midseason List Released
Los Angeles (January 6, 2011)- The John R. Wooden Award Midseason Top 30 was announced today by The Los Angeles Athletic Club. Selected by the Wooden Award National Advisory Board, the list is made up of 30 student-athletes who, based on their performances in November and December, are the early frontrunners for college basketball's most prestigious honor. The Women's midseason list will be released early next week.
Returning players from past Wooden Award ballots include a pair of seniors: Duke's Kyle Singler (2009, 2010) and BYU's Jimmer Fredette (2010).

Being the best player on a Top 15
team is a recipe for earning CollegeHoops.net's Mid-Major Player of the Year
honors. Gordon Hayward averaged 15.4 ppg, 8.5 rpg, and 1.8 apg in leading
Butler to a 28-4 record. He's joined on the Mid-Major First Team by CAA
Player of the Year Charles Jenkins, Cornell leader Ryan Wittman, and big men
Keith Benson of Oakland and Art Parakouski of Radford.
2010 CollegeHoops.net College Basketball All-Americans
Player of the Year Evan Turner and super-freshman John Wall highlight CollegeHoops.net's 2010 All-America teams. Turner averaged 19.5 ppg, 9.4 rpg, and 5.8 apg while helping Ohio St finish tied atop the Big Ten standings. Wall averaged 16.8 ppg and 6.2 apg, helping lead Kentucky to an impressive 29-2 record and an SEC title. They are joined on the First Team by Wall's teammate DeMarcus Cousins, Villanova leader Scottie Reynolds, and Big 12 Player of the Year James Anderson.
College Basketball Top 100 Players: March
The Collegehoops.net Top 100 is the ultimate ranking of college basketball's best players. This is the 3rd of four quarterly editions during the 2009-10 college basketball season. The final edition will be released in early April following the NCAA Tournament.

Conference USA: All-Conference Teams
IRVING, Texas - Players from five different schools are represented on the 2010 All-Conference USA men's basketball first-team, featuring three repeat all-conference selections and two newcomers. Seniors Aubrey Coleman of Houston and Ben Uzoh of Tulsa are joined by juniors Elijah Millsap of UAB and Randy Culpepper of UTEP, along with sophomore Elliot Williams of Memphis.
