Jon Teitel's "Forgotten Legends" Series: Wake Forest's Dickie Hemric
In the most recent installment in his "Forgotten Legends" interview series CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with Wake Forest great Dickie Hemric. Hemric, who remains the school's all-time leading scorer and rebounder, is also the ACCs all-time leading rebounder. His point total led the NCAA until Oscar Robinson passed him and in 2003 he was named one of the 50 greatest players in ACC history.
Jon Teitel's Coaching Greats Series: Former UALR Head Coach Mike Newell
In the latest installment in his "Coaching Greats" interview series CHN writer spent some time with former Arkansas-Little Rock head coach Mike Newell. Coach Newell won 113 games in the first five years of his tenure at UALR and led the Trojans to three NCAA Tournament appearances. Also a head coach at Lamar from 1990-93, Coach Newell finished up a nine-year run at Arkansas-Monticello in 2010 and hopes to catch on with a Division I program as either an assistant or head coach in 2011. In the latest installment in his "Forgotten Legends" interview series, CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with Harvard great Joe Carrabino. Carrabino, who is the only player in Harvard history to be named Ivy League Player of the Year, is the school's all-time leading scorer with a total of 1,880 points. A sixth round draft pick of the Denver Nuggets in 1985, Carrabino is currently the managing director at AEA Investors. Jon Teitel's "Coaching Greats" Series: North Dakota State's Erv Inniger
In the most recent installment in his "Coaching Greats" interview series, CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with former North Dakota State head coach Erv Inniger. Inniger, who played at Indiana, won 244 games in fourteen seasons at NDSU and the Bison had thirteen consecutive winning seasons under his tutelage. An associate athletic director at the school since retiring from coaching in 1992, Inniger will retire from that role next month.

Jon Teitel's "Forgotten Legends" Series: Lewis College Great Wayne Molis
In the latest installment in his "Forgotten Legends" interview series CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with Todd Molis, brother of the late Wayne Molis. Wayne began his collegiate career at Chicago State (then Chicago Teachers College) before transferring to Lewis University for his final two seasons. Wayne holds the school record at both schools for points scored in a single game to this day.

Jon Teitel's "Coaching Greats" Interview Series: Stephen F. Austin's Danny Kaspar
In the most recent installment in his "Coaching Greats" interview series CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with current Stephen F. Austin head coach Danny Kaspar. Kaspar, who made the move to SFA after a successful run at Incarnate Word in San Antonio, led the Lumberjacks to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2009. Stephen F. Austin is off to a 6-2 start this season and is expected to be a contender in the Southland Conference. Jon Teitel's "Forgotten Legends" Series: Rhode Island Great Ernie Calverley
In the latest installment in his "Forgotten Legends" player interview series CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with the son of the late Rhode Island great Ernie Calverley, Ernie Jr. Ernie Sr., who led Frank Keaney's "Runnin' Rams" to a second place finish in the 1946 NIT, was named MVP of that tournament despite his team not winning and still owns the school record for points per game average in the single season (26.7 ppg in 1944). Ernie Sr. was a three-time All-America at URI and ranks fifth all-time in career scoring.
Jon Teitel's Coaching Greats Series: Former Arizona State head coach Ned Wulk
In the latest installment in his Coaching Greats interview series CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with former Arizona State basketball players Tom Kuyper and Roger Detter. Both played for the late Ned Wulk, who is the winningest coach in school history and is a member of both the school's and the Pac-10 Hall of Fame in addition to having the floor at Well Fargo Arena named in his honor. Coach Wulk led Arizona State to eight conference titles and nine NCAA Tournament appearances during his time in Tempe. Jon Teitel's "Forgotten Legends" Series: Utah State Great Jaycee Carroll
In the most recent installment in his "Forgotten Legends" interview series, CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with Utah State great Jaycee Carroll. A prolific scorer in high school, Carroll took his talents to the next level and as a result is the all-time leading scorer in USU history. He also helped lead the program to two NCAA Tournament and three postseason appearances during his time in Logan, and now plays professionally in Spain.
Jon Teitel's Coaching Greats Series: Forner New Mexico head coach Dave Bliss
In the most recent installment in his Coaching Greats interview series, CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with former New Mexico head coach Dave Bliss. Coach Bliss led the Lobos to seven NCAA Tournament appearances during his time in Albuquerque. While many still remember his tumultuous tenure at Baylor for the way in which it ended, Coach Bliss is now the dean of students (as well as head basketball coach and AD) at Allen Academy in Texas.
