chart shows how each seed has fared over the six rounds of each tournament since
1985 (the start of the 64/68 team tournament). For Example the #1 Seeds have won
100% of their first round games, but #2 have only won 95.7% of the time. The #1 Seeds
have made it to the finals 14.1% of the time, but note #4 seeds have only made it
1.1% of the time.

Selection Sunday
2012 is on March 11th. CBS will announced the 68-team field (the 2nd year of the
new format) beginning at 6 PM. This follows the completion of the Big Ten
Championship, which is the last game before the Field is announced.

NCAA Tournament Announcers: Graded

Unless you watch the games on mute or in an extremely loud bar, NCAA Tournament announcers will have a large impact on how you enjoy the games. In fact, by the end of the Tournament (and after watching a whole season of basketball), you'll probably have strong feeling of love or hate towards certain announcing teams.
