Do Lottery Players Equal NBA Success?
The title of the article pretty much sums it up – do the number of lottery drafted players on a NBA team’s roster affect the team’s outcome on the court? At first blush the obvious answer would be yes – more often than not talent wins out on the court, so more talent on a roster should equal more wins. On the other side of the coin, normally the worst teams in the league are the ones drafting in the lottery, so therefore crummy teams should have their rosters saturated with lottery picks.

With the Third Pick in the 2007 NBA Draft the Atlanta Hawks select…? When commissioner David Stern utters these words on June 28th it will mark the point when the 2007 draft really gets underway. It is pretty much a foregone conclusion that Portland will take Greg Oden at #1 and Seattle will snatch up Kevin Durant at #2. Pick #3, property of the Hawks, is where things will start getting interesting.
Reggie Theus Named Sacramento Kings Head Coach
SACRAMENTO, CA - The Sacramento Kings have an agreement in principle with Reggie Theus to become the team's 21st head coach, it was announced today by Kings' President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie. Details for a Wednesday (June 20th) afternoon press conference will be released tomorrow morning.
