Anthony M. Thompson, 35, has
been covering pro and college basketball for around nine years, recently
focusing on the Southland Conference and the NCAA Tournament. He works
out of San Antonio, where he has lived since 1995 with his wife,
Melanie, and his two children, Khalfan, 14, and Shani, 8. Anthony has
done stringing for The Associated Press, written for an e-mail
newsletter, b1604.com, Full Court Press and your beloved CHN, just to
name a few.
Anthony was a former sports
copy editor with the San Antonio Express-News and, since 2002, has run
his own public relations, media consultancy and sports marketing firm,
