Kyle Mallory graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Political Science in 2002.  He then went on to do a year of graduate work in public policy at the Mark O. Hatfield School of Government at Portland State University.

After his work at Portland State, Kyle decided to pursue journalism full time. 

He has done freelance work for Esportsmedia group, the Beaverton Valley Times, the Portland Tribune, and the Community Newspapers in Portland, Oregon.

Kyle's passion for sports began at an early age, where neighborhood kickball games reigned supreme.  His love of basketball also started at an early age, but his height, or lack thereof, precluded any career beyond high school. 

He has written countless articles on both basketball and baseball, and hopes to be a Sports Illustrated columnist someday.
