Covers: IUPUI , Mid-Continent Conference

Scott A. Keisler enters his second season with CHN and will once again cover the Mid-Continent Conference.  The 24 year-old is a senior in IUPUI’s School of Journalism and previously spent time at Indiana University studying telecommunications.  He attended nine Mid-Con games last season and was credentialed at the conference tournament championship game in Kansas City, Missouri.  Scott has also been credentialed for Indiana University football and Indiana Pacers basketball.

Scott, who has a twin sister, grew up in Fishers, Indiana.  While in high school he enjoyed athletic success in football, track, and powerlifting.  As a freshman he was member of a state champion powerlifting team, and as a senior on the football team he played for the Class AAAA state championship.

In addition to writing and sports, he also enjoys cooking and has undertaken several courses in the culinary arts.  He even manages to find time to play the piano and guitar in his spare time.  Scott is actively involved in his church, and has taken a particular interest in Biblical studies.  He hopes to one day author a book in this area.  Scott, who now resides on the south side of Indianapolis, also loves travel, boating, and dogs.

Scott looks forward to another exciting year with CHN and encourages his readers to e-mail him with questions or commentary.
