Daily Bracketology: Sunday's Field of 65

Daily Bracketology

 

I'm going to be projecting the Tournament field on a close to daily basis for the rest of the year (and no Saturday's since there's little action Friday). This is a field based on how the tourney looks as of this moment. Note that for one-bid leagues, I simply include the conference leader at the time of publishing. In case of ties, I use my projected winner.

 

Arrows indicate team that moved up or down based on last night's performance.

 

Note on Sunday's Movement: Obviously a lot of changes after a busy Saturday.  Dayton is the lone team to drop out of the field after losing to GW, replaced by Oregon who beat Cal. I'm not happy putting Oregon in, but there's little options and the committee would respect their 3 wins over RPI Top 25 teams. Purdue shoots up to a 4 seed by virtue of beating Wisconsin again, and taking a game lead in the Big Ten. Despite the result of Louisville/Georgetown, the Hoyas maintain a 2 seed due to their quality record and grasp on 1st in the conference, and Louisville barely moves up due to good performances by the teams ahead. The biggest loser of the day is Ole Miss who barely hangs on as a 12 seed. Lastly, Morgan State replaced Hampton as the MEAC leader.
