Daily Bracketology: Thursday

Another day, another daily Field of 65. (Except no Saturday's since there's little action Friday). This is a field based on how the tourney looks "as of this moment." For one-bid leagues, I simply include the conference leader at the time of publishing. In case of ties, I use my projected winner.

 

Arrows indicate a team that moved up or down based on last night's performance. (Just because a team won or lost doesn't necessarily mean they'll move substantially.)

 

Note on Thursday's Movement: Apparently nobody really wants the last few at-large bids. Bubble teams continue to lose.. and today's victim was Rhode Island who has blown an impressive 14-1 start. URI's fall bumps Florida up to an 11, UAB to 12 seed, and allows Illinois State to move into the field for the first time all season.  The Redbirds beat Creighton last night and have an extremely important game against fellow bubble squad SIU on tap to close the regular season. The other big winner of the day is Mississippi State who moves more firmly into an 8 seed, while fellow SEC team Arkansas drops substantially to a 10 seed.
