Bracketology: February 9th
While I'm not quite ready for the Daily Field of 65, expect updates every 2-3 days for the next 2 weeks. The Bracketology field is based on how the tourney looks "as of this moment." Arrows indicate a team that moved up or down based on last week's performance. (Just because a team won or lost doesn't necessarily mean they'll move substantially though.)
Why should you care what I have to say? Did you know, last year I was considered to have one of the Top 2 or 3 brackets (depending on the scoring rubric) amongst 53 national experts including Joe Lunardi, Gary Parrish and the like).
Movement:
Last update was February 6th. Arrows indicate movement by seed. Two arrows equals a change of two seeds, etc.. Only a handful of games featuring potential Tourney teams tonight, so no major movement. UCONN moves a half game in front of Marquette to take the outright Big East lead, while Princeton is the new surprise leader of the Ivy after knocking off Cornell. Note how little movement there is in the top seeds.. some inter-seed shuffling, but nothing major for the first time in awhile. Kentucky drops out of the field of 65.
