Bracketology: March 15 (3:30)
The Bracketology field is based on how the tourney looks "as of this moment." Arrows indicate the amount of seeds a team moved since the last update. (Just because a team won or lost doesn't necessarily mean they'll move substantially though.)
Why should you care what I have to say? Did you know, last year I was considered to have one of the Top 2 or 3 brackets (depending on the scoring rubric) amongst 53 national experts including Joe Lunardi, Gary Parrish and the like).
Movement:
Previous update was March 14th: 11 PM. Arrows indicate movement by seed. Two arrows equals a change of two seeds, etc..
Update as of 3/15, 3:30 PM (2nd to last update)
Duke moved up to #2 in the RPI, and now has as many Top 25 wins as anybody but Pitt & Louisville. They move into the final #1 seed, replacing Michigan St. Purdue jumps back into the final #4 seed over FSU. USC, now up to 38th in the RPI, jumps all the way to a 10 seed after just entering the field yesterday. And of course, Mississippi St joins the fray, knocking out Wisconsin.. who was just 4-10 against Top 50 teams, and 6-9 away from home.
Final update coming up when the final RPI #'s are run after the Big Ten finals.
