Bracketology: Memphis Locks Up Bid, BC Out

March 12th, 2011
The latest 2011 NCAA Tournament Bracketology field as things stand as of Saturday at 2 eastern. The field below is not who I think deserves to be in, but simply a prediction of what the committee would do as things stand.

Why should you care what I have to say? In 2007, 2008 & 2010, my NCAA Tournament projections ranked in the Top 3 amongst 50+ national experts including Joe Lunardi, Gary Parrish and the like. Over the last 3 years, I've ranked 3rd overall amongst bracketologists according to the Bracket Project

Notes:

Arrows indicate how many seeds (not spots) a team has moved up or down since the last update (Friday morning). Teams in Green are new to the field today. Teams in CAPS have locked up a bid. ** = Projected Automatic Bid
