The Collegehoops.net Top 50 Power Ranking is your weekly window into the national college basketball scene.  Is the Top 50 Better than the AP or the Coaches Polls? At the very least, the Top 50 has no agenda like the coaches and we go deeper into the country than most power-conference biased media members. Week One Top 50 Ranking: November 16th

- Only two of the Top 50 teams lost; Mississippi State to Rider (who moves onto the next in line list), and Creighton to Top 20 team Dayton on the road. A few changes here and there based on how well or not well teams looked, but otherwise this is pretty much how the ranking looked in the preseason. 08-09 final Top 50 ranking is included for reference. "Pre." = preseason ranking.
