Betting odds are a great guide to college basketball entertainment. I'll discuss my daily predictions after the lines.. these are posted solely for fun, as I do not bet on games myself, nor do I suggest anybody else does either (it's not easy). If you agree or disagree with my picks, have thoughts on the day's lines, or have upsets or picks to announce, post them below.

UCLA VS AGGIES

i dont understand why ucla is favored by that many (-8). first off, new mexst. is coming off a shoot out road win vs utep winning 87-80 on sunday, getting revenge in that game, now they travel to face a hapless ucla team who are losers of 5 str8, and are struggling offensively since gordon quit, avg 59 points in last 5. when looking between the lines in this matchup u will see the aggies are giving up avg of close to 83 points per game,HOWEVER when looking at who they played it also shows that those teams are not offensively challenged with the likes of utep,calfullerton,new mex,st mary. these teams shoot the ball well and can score. UCLA is so bad offensively right now i dont see them scoring more than 66 in this game. add in the fact that both teams just played this weekend, and the aggies are 1-5 under on tues nights, also 4-10 under on the road, with ucla 1-7 under at home. under 144 is the play 5*.

Sean ~ Are you concerned about UNO team morale after the news on saturday that this will be their final year in the Sunbelt as they transition to Division III? I would think that for the younger players especially,this was devastating news.It sure seemed like they weren't completely focused on saturday as they fell to the previously 0-8 Southern Jaguars. FAU meanwhile did struggle at home to beat NAIA II member Warner Southern in triple overtime and is just 1-22 on the road in the Mike Jarvis era.
I think that I'm with ya' on the Privateers.

PREDICTIONS
-- After getting Fordam right yesterday, I'm now 22-14 on the season. Not a bad clip if I can keep it up.
-- This is finals week across the nation so very few games scattered throughout. Only 3 games to choose from tonight. Days like this worry me, because I feel like I force picks that might otherwise have been left alone.
-- Regardless, I like NEW ORLEANS tonight. FAU enters with a seemingly decent 4-4 record, however 2 of those wins are against non-D1 teams. FAU's lone road win was against dismally bad 1-8 American University. Otherwise, FAU has been losing road games by about 12 ppg a clip. UNO is far from dominant at home, but I like a 6-10 point win here.
