Betting odds are a great guide to college basketball entertainment. I'll discuss my daily predictions after the lines.. these are posted solely for fun, as I do not bet on games myself, nor do I suggest anybody else does either (it's not easy). If you agree or disagree with my picks, have thoughts on the day's lines, or have upsets or picks to announce, post them below.

PREDICTIONS

-- Finally put a few wins together, going 3-0 last night, to move to 33-27 on the season. Duke, New Mexico, and Vandy were my picks. 3-0 tonight and we'd be on to something..

-- Unfortunately though, I'm not in love with most of tonight's lines. So only two picks, both out of the Big East. I like..

-- ST. JOHN'S (+8.5) at Pittsburgh. With the exception of a big loss at UCONN, St. John's has been competitive on the road. They lost by 7 at Louisville, 7 at Georgetown, and 9 at Duke. This game probably suits the Storm better then those, and thus I see a 5-6 point defeat.

-- Going off the list above, I like SOUTH FLORIDA (+2) against Seton Hall. The Bulls are coming off a nice road win at Providence, a competitve loss at Cincy, and a home win over Rutgers. They also lost at home to Notre Dame earlier in the month by just a point at home. That ND squad is similar talent-wise to the Hall, and I expect a close game with a slight edge to the home team.

Who do you like tonight?

disagree with st. johns

St. Johns has played tough on the road, but are slumping right and a trip to pittsburgh is the last thing they need. st. johns lost at uconn by 16, where pitt won in uconn by 10, no answer for wannamaker and pittsburgh bounces back with a double digit home win!!
