Betting odds are a great guide to college basketball entertainment. I'll discuss my daily predictions after the lines.. these are posted solely for fun, as I do not bet on games myself, nor do I suggest anybody else does either (it's not easy). If you agree or disagree with my picks, have thoughts on the day's lines, or have upsets or picks to announce, post them below.
February 9th: Odds & Predictions

csu -2 at air force. af has lost 8 of 9, including 70-48 at ft collins.
the fact they lost by 14 against an even worse tcu team at home suggests your right, but if csu doesnt win this game they might not win again all year, and they probably know that which suggests to me theyll bring an A effort here.. but I like your call
wake & gmu did their job so far, need msu to come through for the trifecta..

Had Kansas big last night, now in the Big 12 I love Oklahoma at home against Tech. Oklahoma's been playing better of late and Tech stinks on the road
PREDICTIONS
-- Much needed 3-0 day yesterday pushes me up to 39-32 on the year. Far from great, but at least I'm in reach of the +10 mark once again.
-- Despite a relatively quiet 23 game slate tonight, there's on oddly high amount of quality teams in action; 7 top 25 teams and a few more tourney-quality teams as well.
-- I like WAKE FOREST (-6) against Boston College. Wake has won 4 of 5 to move into 3rd place in the ACC. They've also moved within striking distance of the Top 25, and this to me is a hungry team right now. They won home games against UVA by 8 and Miami by 9, teams which are of a similar talent-level to BC. I like Wake by 8-12 points here.
-- Next, we'll move out to the Big Ten where I'm taking MICHIGAN ST (-2.5) against Purdue. My understanding is that Kalin Lucas will see time tonight, though not a full 35 minutes. Still, Purdue hasn't been great away from home, losing to Northwestern and Wisconsin, and barely beating lowly Indiana by 3 points after trailing at the half. MSU needs a win badly following a 2 game skid, and I like the Spartans to turn it around.
-- Lastly, I like GEORGE MASON (+4) vs Virginia Commonwealth. GMU has only lost 1 game at home since the 2006-07 season by 4 or more points, and that was to Top 25 Georgia Tech earlier in the year. VCU, though solid, isnt as good as GT, nor are they particularly great on the road. VCU has lost away at William & Mary, Northeastern, and Drexel, teams in the same realm as George Mason.
Who do you like tonight?
