John Wall - Still #1

John Wall - Still #1

The Collegehoops.net Top 100 is the ultimate ranking of college basketball's best players.  This is the 3rd of four quarterly editions during the 2009-10 college basketball season. The final edition will be released in early April following the NCAA Tournament.

The ranking is based on the following four criteria:

A) performance/accomplishments, B) skill/talent, C) pro potential, D) impact/value to team.

This is not a pure NBA prospect ranking, which can be found here. Check out the Top 100: By the Numbers page (coming soon) for how many made list by class, age, conference, etc.

Let the debates begin..

Where's Tweety?

Is this an oversight? How can the Big 12 assist leader not be one of the top 100 (or even mentioned in an also considered) players this year? He averaged 15.8 ppg, had 43.7% fg, 6.31 assists, shot 82.4% ft, and 39% from 3 pt. That should be in your top 25.

Turner all the way!

You have to go with Evan Turner #1. Better stats than Wall. Played a stronger schedule as Wall. Plus Turner is also the best prospect in this year's draft other than Wall. See what happens when you stop getting me to vote for these things!!

Evan Turner

I would put Turner ahead of Wall. Perhaps I am a bit bias with the home team kid. Great list put together as always.

When you take into account

When you take into account overall talent level and his age (2 grades is a huge difference), Wall is far and away the best for the list I think (which doesnt mean Turner shouldnt be national POY)
