As a companion to CollegeHoops.net's Top 100 Players Ranking, we present the first edition of this season's Top 25 freshmen list. Players are judged on a combination of a) talent/potential and b) performance. While the top names on this list (Davis, Kidd-Gilchrist, Rivers, etc) are known to most college basketball fans, there are surprise names further down including some hidden mid-major and low-major gems (such as CCSU's Kyle Vinales and Oakland's Corey Petros).

Cody Zeller

So far the only team that has slowed down Zeller has been Indiana, by not giving him the ball. Anthony Davis could do nothing but foul him, and would have fouled out if IU would have gave Zeller the ball more down the stretch.
