COLLEGE STATION -- The Padre Island Invitational and games against
Arizona, Alabama and LSU highlight Texas A&M's 2008-09
non-conference men's basketball schedule.
The Aggies will open the regular-season at home against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Nov. 16) and Stephen F. Austin (Nov. 18) before playing host to the first two games of the Padre Island Invitational. A&M will play Jackson State in the first round game on Nov. 21 and North Carolina Wilmington in the second round on Nov. 25.
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa's 2008-09 men's Big Ten Conference basketball schedule will include 16 appearances on the Big Ten Network, with just one of nine home games set for a start time as late as 7:30 p.m.

INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced its men’s basketball schedule for the upcoming 2008-09 season, featuring opponents from the Big Ten, Pac-10, BIG EAST and Atlantic-10 Conferences. In addition, the Jaguars will host two non-conference games at downtown Conseco Fieldhouse and take part in the 2008 Coaches vs. Cancer 2K Sports College Hoops Classic in Carbondale, Ill..
Another challenging collection of non-conference games followed by the rigorous Big Ten slate highlight the 2008-09 Illinois men's basketball schedule. A total of 19 home games will be played at the Assembly Hall (17 regular season and two exhibition), and the Illini will play at least 12 games during the regular season against teams that participated in last year's NCAA Tournament.
AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts released its 2008-09 men's basketball schedule today as the Atlantic 10 finalized the league portion of the schedule. The Minutemen will be playing the teams that competed for the 2008 NCAA Championship in Kansas and Memphis. UMass takes on the defending champion Jayhawks on Dec. 13 in Kansas City. UMass travels to the national finalist Tigers on Nov. 17 at the FedEx Forum.
CINCINNATI - Xavier University announced its 2008-09 mens basketball schedule today, a slate that includes a potential for 19 games against teams that made 2008 postseason tournaments. Xavier set a school record for victories with a 30-7 record last season, while winning its second straight Atlantic 10 Conference Regular Season Championship and earning its second NCAA Elite Eight appearance in five years.
The Saint Louis University department of athletics today announced its 2008-09 men's basketball schedule. The slate is highlighted by non-conference games against Boston College and Nebraska. This season marks the debut of the Billikens' new home, Chaifetz Arena. The Billikens will face five teams that earned an NCAA Tournament bid in 2008 and play nine games against opponents that qualified for the NIT or the CBI. SLU will play 11 games against teams coming off a 20-win season and 12 contests versus schools ranked in the official NCAA RPI Top 100.
