The Collegehoops.net Top 50 Power Ranking is your weekly window into the national college basketball scene. Is the Top 50 Better than the AP or the Coaches Polls? At the very least, the Top 50 has no agenda like the coaches and we go deeper into the country than most power-conference biased media members. - The big mover of the week is of course Syracuse, who knocked off Cal & UNC. Cal looked outmatched against both Ohio St and Syracuse and drops a fair amount. Miami and Notre Dame move into the Top 50 as they remain unbeaten, while UNLV and Iowa State make appearance in the Next Five for the first time.

Why is iowa state #55 on this list? can you say UNDER-rated? they're blowing out opponents that beat teams ranked ahead of them wtf!? go isu! ur top 25 in my book this guys a moron...all my friends and family agree this will b the last time we look at this DIPSHITS rankings

I think Iowa State can justify a bump up with a win vs. St. Louis on Friday. the teams ISU have played against so far are less than stellar (combined 6-18) with 4 of 5 teams having 0 or 1 wins each. A win friday merits a top 40 ranking

Florida is #29, but FSU is #40?.....That is kind of ridiculous in my opinion, but I guess we'll see what is what tomorrow night...Go Noles

I was rooting for the Noles to represent the ACC, but man, gotta shoot better than 33% against a team like Florida. I'm not sure Florida has enough to take down MSU though.
