Still here, but those bots in the summer practically choked the life out of the boards. Hope guys make it back though.

Funny enough, I haven't logged in in probably 3 months and just did today, and see this thread. Hopefully the board will make it back to its prime like it was 3-4 years ago.
Wander, I know its early and the season hasn't started, but it already looks like Elliot is going to be 'the' guy at Memphis this year. They still have about 5 really good players, some of which are seniors, but all the go-to guys of the past couple of years are gone. In practices and the first exhibition, he has stepped right in as 'the man"...

Yep, I pretty much quit when every other post was a spam message.
But maybe life still exists here... Anyway, hard to believe the season starts on Monday.

Awesome. Sometimes transfers can leave a bad taste but obviously when it's family related like with Elliot it's a different story. I think you'll like him, it's not every day you see a super athletic NBA level guy who's as humble as he is and enjoys playing chess for fun. He was still learning how to use his athleticism on offense last year, but was fantastic pressuring the ball and I think he's headed for a breakout season. Unless you run into Duke in the NCAAs, I'll be rooting for Memphis every game.

Season starts tomorrow!
Who do you guys like to take the 2Ksports tourney? I like California, I think the Pac-10 is gonna be better than people expect, and I think Washington (and maybe Cal) is gonna be a legit final 4 contender even missing Brockman.
