Tournament Interview series, he had a chance to chat with Dereck Whittenburg.
Whittenburg was the starting guard on the famed 1983 NC State squad that won the
National Title, and he worked his way into March Madness lore by putting up the
shot that Lorenzo Charles eventually finished for the winning basket. Besides
his playing career, Whittenburg also had a lengthy coaching career that included
head-coaching stops at Wagner and Fordham.
