The pairings are set for the 2009 CAA Men's Basketball Championship, which will be held March 6-9 at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Va.
Charles Jenkins: CAA Player of the Week
Hempstead, NY (Feb. 23) - Sophomore guard Charles Jenkins (Queens, NY/Springfield Gardens) was named the Colonial Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player of the Week, it was announced today by the league office.
Jenkins earned the honor for the second time this season, after also being named CAA Player of the Week on Nov. 17 after the Pride's season-opening trip to the Charleston Classic. Jenkins earned the CAA Rookie of the Week Award four times last year, on the way to CAA Rookie of the Year honors.
