In the most recent installment in his "Forgotten Legends" interview series CHN writer Jon Teitel spent some time with Savannah State great Johnny Mathis, who was a two-time all-conference selection during his time at the school. Mathis would go on to play professionally in the ABA, Eastern League and in Spain, and is currently a highly successful high school coach at John F. Kennedy High in the Bronx.

After a 15-2 run gave Louisville a 51-46 lead with 3:38 remaining it seemed as if the Cardinals were well on their way to an eighth straight win over #2 Syracuse. Thursday Preview: Oral Roberts at Gonzaga
Finals week for many schools is approaching its end, meaning that the matchups will get a little better with the best coming on Saturday. Thursday's game of import is Oral Roberts (7-3) visiting Gonzaga (5-2) in hopes of winning in front of one of the best student sections in the country. Thursday marks the 100th game that Gonzaga has played in the McCarthey Athletic Center and they've gone 92-7 in the 99 games prior, so winning will be a tough task for Dominique Morrison (16.2 ppg, 4.2 rpg) and company.
