Bucknell makes their first NCAA appearance since 2006With the college basketball season finally on the horizon, the game that's been overlooked by many in conference realignment will once again have the center stage. Perennial contenders will once again make a run at a national title while some new faces will pop up as well. The first four-part preview will focus on the conferences, and more specifically who will win each of the 32 leagues.

While some of the departures in this region will steal the majority of the ink there are a number of teams who should feel good about their prospects in 2011-12. "Big Dance" Interviews: Bucknell Postseason Teleconference

Bucknell makes their first NCAA appearance since 2006Yesterday CHN writer Jon Teitel took part in the postseason teleconference for the Patriot League champion Bucknell Bison. The Bison lost just one league game during the regular season, and big man Mike Muscala was named Patriot League Player of the Year. Although experienced, Bucknell last played in the NCAA Tournament in 2006.

Center Valley, Pa. - The quest for the 2009 Patriot League Men's Basketball Championship begins with the quarterfinal round on Wednesday, with defending champion American playing as the No. 1 seed and hosting No. 8 Lafayette. No. 2 Holy Cross hosts No. 7 Bucknell, No. 3 Navy takes on No. 6 Colgate and No. 4 Army hosts No. 5 Lehigh in the other three contests.
