GameNight: UCONN vs Gonzaga

December 20th, 2008
Dec 20 2008 - 4:00pm

Editor's Early Preview (12/15):

Gonzaga's loss to Arizona takes some of the potential lustre off this powerhouse Top 10 battle. UCONN rarely plays true road games in non-conference play, and their only other away game was a near disaster at Buffalo. (This game is in Seattle, so you might call it a semi-home game for Gonzaga anyways). Gonzaga played some awful (hideous, atrocious, etc) basketball against Arizona, and Jeremy Pargo in particular needs a major bounce back here.

College Basketball: 20 Random Thoughts & Observations

December 11th, 2008
Scottie Reynolds - Villanova20 Random Rants, Thoughts, and Observations from the Week in College Basketball by CollegeHoops.net Editor Shawn Siegel:

1 - Everyone knows the Big East is loaded. This is most unfortunate for Rutgers who will have a hard time winning more than a game or two in league play. The Knights have already lost to Lehigh, Binghamton, and St. Bonaventure (2 of those coming at home.) When they go on the road to face UNC in 2 weeks, the score could potentially be 100-0.
