Daily Bracketology: Villanova Moves Into the Field
Another day, another daily Field of 65. This is a field based on how the tourney looks "as of this moment." Arrows indicate a team that moved up or down based on last night's performance. (Just because a team won or lost doesn't necessarily mean they'll move substantially.)
Note on Thursday's Movement: The big change today is that Villanova is now in the field after beating Syracuse (who is no longer even in the next four out). They replaced Ohio State, who is now first out. Last in is Illinois State, who moved down due to some recent negative RPI changes (2 wins over Creighton no longer count as Top 50 wins). Also, I moved Arkansas up to a 9, switching places with South Alabama.. simply because on further review, that seems more appropriate. A lot of bubble teams are in action today so expect some more volatility tomorrow.
Also in the field for the first time is Mount St Mary's who beat Sacred Heart in the NEC title game.
