Scouting Report: A long, strong athletic big man.
Strengths: Long arms. Extremely athletic. Explosive athlete. Great shot blocker. Strong physique. Good in the post. Great rebounder. Has the potential to play on the wing and in the paint. Nice hands for a big man. Quick.
Weaknesses: Still inexperienced and raw. Needs to improve his footwork. His ball-handling has improved but it still needs more work. Needs to add a little weight to play the post in the pros.
Projected 2010 Draft Range: Top 5 pick.
Consensus: Favors should only be on the Georgia Tech campus for a brief time before he becomes a NBA player. He has the potential to best player to come out of Tech since Chris Bosh.

Have you actually watched Derrick Favors play? He is a one man wrecking crew. With no real point guard or other method for reliable delivery he easily took ACC rookie honors with stats that NBA bound seniors would kill for. Another one and done with flaws only in the handle (which are very different at the NBA level anyway) and earlier in the season; fouls. Once he gets a good assist man, he will be amazing.

I the guy who said favors would be a best once he get a assist man. I am from the same area that sticks is from and he is going to be just phenomenal watch an she derrick favors aka sticks haters.
