What 30 Games Means
The Golden State Warriors handed down their sentence to Monta Ellis on Saturday, suspending their young franchise player for 30 games for violating his contract by injuring himself while riding a moped. Ellis tore his deltoid ligament in his left ankle and will be out of action until December, losing $3 million in salary while sitting out.
