Along with Xavier, this is two of the country's three premier non-BCS programs. Gonzaga has failed to live up to lofty expectations as players like Jeremy Pargo have seemingly regressed. But in this tough environment, and due to the Tigers style of play, I think the Zags walk away with another important non-conference win

Early Prediction: Gonzaga

Gonzaga has been less consistent this year

Its gonna be interesting to see what their on-court personality is like tonight. If they bring the fight to Memphis early, they can dominate offensively with high octane players like Steven Gray,Austin Daye, Jeremy Pargo and Josh Heytvelt. They have more weapons but Ive seen games this year, when they were very low octane and they lose. Should be a good game, Tyreke Evans is an exciting guard to watch also.

Wow

Memphis has been dominant. I would have gone with Gonzaga here; maybe the Tigers are a darkhorse to get to Detroit with Evans at the point.
