Scouting Report: A hard working post player with an NBA body.
Strengths: Long wingspan - over 7 feet. Decent build. Works hard in the post to get position. Quick player for his size. Hustles - is an active player. Can score with either hand in the post. Good work ethic. Good athlete. Great rebounder. Good shot blocker.
Weaknesses: Still raw - needs more experience. Post game is a work in progress. Turns the ball over too much. Horrible free throw shooter. Still inconsistent.

Consensus: Gani Lawal is a terrific NBA prospect due to his hard working nature and his NBA body. His game still need development, but he definitely has the potential to be an above average pro player.
