We're always looking for talented & dedicated writers to join the CHN-Collegehoopsnet team.  If you would like to become the writer/editor for a team or conference page, you'll be asked to contribute twice per month, and you'll become eligible to earn money with CHN.  More importantly, its a great opportunity to to gain experience and exposure to thousands of basketball fans each day.

 

Our writers come from a variety of backgrounds.  Some are professional journalists who have a passion for covering hoops or their favorite teams on the side.  Others are aspiring college journalists, looking to build the perfect portfolio.  Yet, even others are simply big time fans & alumni, with a love of basketball and a well developed writing style.

 

Topics to cover

Teams - CHN focuses on commentary, more so than recaps and results.  We want writers who aren't afraid to take stances and have a polished, unique voice.

 

Conferences - We're looking for writers who know specific conferences from top to bottom.  Covering a conference is the best to build your basketball writing portfolio.

 

Specialty Areas - CHN draws a lot of traffic from its NBA Draft coverage as well as its high school recruiting articles.  If you're an expert in these areas, you could be a perfect fit.

 

Other - We're always open to new ideas about columns & features on the site.  Are you a stats freak? Then show CHN what you've got.  Do you love college basketball broadcasts & the media?  Do you enjoy critiquing uniforms & logos?  There's no limit to what can make a quality column on CHN.
