NCAA Tournament Success - By Seed
This chart shows how each seed has fared over the six rounds of each tournament
since 1985 (the start of the 64 team tournament). For Example the #1 Seeds have
won 96 of 96 games in the first round, but 4 times a #2 seed has lost. The #1
Seeds have made it to the finals round 23 times and have won 14 of them
(including last year). The #4 seeds have made it to the finals only twice.
