After a
thrilling overtime victory in the Atlantic Sun Tournament final, the Bruins
of Belmont are going dancing for the first time ever. Belmont is a great
offensive team, averaging over 82 points per game and shooting over 50% from
the floor. The problem is they give up nearly comparable numbers in both
categories. The big guys tend to get in foul trouble, but Belmont does have
a deep bench ready and able to fill some minutes. Their goal has already
been met by making it this far, but this is a fun team to watch. Keep an
eye on junior guard Josh Goodwin, who can light it up from long range and
keep his team in the game against the big boys.
