Georgetown
won’t score much in John Thompson III’s version of the Princeton offense,
but they don’t give up many points either. The strength is the frontcourt
led by center Roy Hibbert and forwards Jeff Green and Brandon Bowman.
Luckily for Gtown, foul trouble isn’t usually a problem, because after that
trio, there aren’t many options. The Hoyas’ deliberate pace, with the help
of longer TV timeouts, shouldn’t make their slim bench a huge issue. What
is a problem is the three-point shooting. Overall it isn’t horrible (36%),
but Georgetown doesn’t have a player who will consistently look for, and
knock down, the long ball.
