They may have
gone undefeated in conference play and only lost all season to Connecticut,
Washington and Memphis, but many have been disappointed with the play of
Gonzaga. It’s not the play of Adam Morrison or J.P. Batista, but of point
guard Derek Raivio. The junior point guard proved he was a solid player as
an underclassman; yet, this season has been a struggle. The assist numbers
are down below three per game. If Raivio can step it up for the tournament
this is a tough, tough team. Even if he doesn’t, just give the ball to Adam
Morrison and the Bulldogs are bound to have some success.
