Patrick Sparks,

The top three
scorers are only sophomores, which might explain some of the inconsistency
problems that have haunted the Wildcats this season. That trio of Randolph
Morris, Rajon Rondo and Joe Crawford are talented and can explode for a huge
game at any time. The frontcourt is amazingly deep and experienced with
Bobby Perry, Shreay Thomas, Rekalin Sims, Shagari Alleyne and Lukasz Obrzut.
None of them are go-to players, but they can all fill minutes and that is
important come tournament time. Rondo will be the key if Kentucky wants to
win a game or two. The guard leads the team in assists and rebounding and
must dictate tempo and keep the team under control. If it’s a close game,
don’t bet on Kentucky. The Wildcats are hovering around the 65% mark from
the free throw line.
