The
Hawks squeaked out a
victory over favorite Fairleigh Dickinson in the NEC Tournament final. It
will be tough for Monmouth to pull off another victory, but they do have the
tools to put a scare into somebody. Dejan Delic, Tyler Azzarelli and Chris
Kenny can all hit the long ball, but consistency in that department has been
a major issue all season long. Forward Corey Hallett will have the
unenviable job of holding the opposing big man in check; that is until 7-2
junior John Bunch comes off the bench. Bunch lacks a bevy of offensive
moves, but he can grab some boards and be effective on the defensive end.
It will have to be a perfect night for Monmouth to pull off some more magic
in March.
