Sophomore guard Tweety Carter is
helping Baylor achieve new heights, as the Bears are off to a 13-2 start. In
just 23 minutes per game, the speedy 5-10 playmaker is averaging 9 ppg and 3 apg,
including an almost 2 to 1 assist/turnover ratio.
Big 12 Weekly Award Winners
November 26th, 2007IRVING, Texas - Junior A.J. Abrams (Texas) and freshman LaceDarius Dunn (Baylor) have been chosen as the latest Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week for the 2007-08 season, in voting by a panel of media covering the conference. Abrams wins player honors for the second time in his career, while Dunn’s rookie award marks the second consecutive week a Baylor player has won a Big 12 weekly award.
